BS Tourism Management

The four-year Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management aims to produce holistic graduates who have both soft and hard skills and knowledge of fundamental theories needed to efficiently and effectively meet the demands of the dynamic tourism industry whether in the Philippines or abroad.

The BS Tourism Management aims to:

  1. Provide professional and practical skills needed by graduates to start a successful career in the hospitality industry based from the ASEAN MRA standards.
  2. Develop knowledge of the tourism and hospitality industry through hands-on training in the state-of-the-art learning environments.
  3. Teach soft skills that the modern tourism and hospitality industry demands, including flexibility, problem-solving and communication.
  4. Hone skills and gain valuable real-world experience through professional internships in travel agencies, hotels, resorts, food and beverage sector, airlines, cruise lines and other tourism-related establishments.
  5. Provide internship programs that primarily will work at a more operational level, understanding the day-to-day activities and challenges different departments go through.
  6. Provide internship that sees the development of management skills, as well as, understanding of communication and business administration to senior BSTM students. Both reinforce what students learn in the classroom, putting skills into practice at some of the best hospitality organizations in the Philippines, Asia and worldwide.
  7. Develop tourism practitioners who will be advocates of sustainable development.
